Open-circuit mouthpiece ventilation (MPV) is a form of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) that can be used to provide portable daytime ventilatory support and complements nocturnal NIV via "mask" interfaces. Learn and review the indications, techniques, advantages and disadvantages of MPV as well as, explore recent data that supports how MPV has been proven to be safe and valuable mode of ventilation.
